Open Desk Friday gives anyone in Wigan a free day at Weave Coworking – a hot desk, full access to our communal areas, and everything you need to get a day’s work done, every Friday between 8:30am and 5:00pm.
No membership, no payment, no catch. Just register for a date and turn up whenever suits you.
How it works
Register online: pick the Friday that works for you. No time slot to choose; access runs 8:30am–5pm.
Turn up whenever suits you: stay for an hour or the whole day, there’s no fixed session length.
Check in at the front desk: just let them know you’re here for Open Desk Friday.

what's included
A hot desk for the day, plus full access to Weave’s communal areas. Free high-speed Wi-Fi, tea, and coffee. A friendly welcome from Amy, our Community Manager, who’s around if you have questions or want a proper look at the space.
who it's for
Freelancers, remote workers, and small business owners in and around Wigan who want to try coworking before committing to anything – or anyone who just fancies a change from the kitchen table for the day. Open to anyone aged 18 or over.

FAQs
How often can I do Open Desk Friday?
You can register for Open Desk Friday once every 4 weeks. If you’d like a desk more often than that, our Hot Desk membership gives you 50 hours a month, whenever you need them.
Do I need to bring anything?
Just yourself and whatever you’re working on. A laptop, if you’ve got one. Wi-Fi, tea and coffee are provided.
Is there a catch - do I have to join afterwards?
No. Open Desk Friday is free with no obligation to join. If you like the space, we’ll talk you through membership options when you’re ready – not before.
Can I use a meeting room while I'm there?
Meeting rooms aren’t included in Open Desk Friday, but ask at the front desk and we’ll let you know what’s available.
What if my plans change?
Let us know by contacting hello@weave-coworking.co.uk at least 24hrs before, so we can free up the space for someone else.
Can I bring a colleague?
Everyone needs to register separately – registrations can’t be shared or transferred between people

Terms & Conditions
Open Desk Fridays is available to individuals (non-members) aged 18 or over who register in advance through the Open Desk Fridays sign-up form.
Registration grants complimentary access to Weave Coworking facilities between 8:30am and 5:00pm on the Friday selected at registration. There is no fixed session length, participants may arrive and leave at any time within these hours.
Access applies to hot desks and communal areas only. Private offices, meeting rooms, and other add-on services are excluded.
Participants may register for one Open Desk Friday session every 4 weeks. A new registration cannot be made until 4 weeks have passed since the last session attended.
Each individual must register separately. Registrations cannot be shared or transferred to another person.
Open Desk Friday sessions run only on Fridays, within the times stated above.
